What to do if you or a friend are being bullied?

If you are being bullied on school grounds, according to state law, you may contact the followng authoraties:

  1. School Principal
  2. School Teacher
  3. School counselor
  4. School Superintendent

If you are being cyber-bullied you may report the harassment to the following people,

  1. Website/app support, server admin
  2. Local Authoraties (ONLY IF YOUR LIFE IS BEING THREATENED)
  3. School faculty (If harassment is occurring on school electronic communcation mediums)

Bullying is defined in the state of Arizona as physical/verbal/textual:

  1. Harassment
  2. Intimidation

School's reponsibility for OFF campus bullying

No official OFF campus policy. However, 

Schools shall, prosecute and enforce policies and procedures if harassment occurs on:

  1. School grounds
  2. School property
  3. School transport
  4. School events/activities
  5. And through electronic communcation (i.e. School Computers, networks, forums, mailing lists)
